Sieves may be returned to be re-examined and measured in
accordance with the appropriate specification. Complying sieves are
issued with a certificate according to end users
requirements. This provides end users with the assurance and
validates that their sieves continue to be serviceable.
Sieves which no longer meet the requirement of the standard will
not be certified. A summary, identifying reasons for failure,
accompanies the sieves when we return them to the end user.
Please take suitable precautions to ensure that the returned
items do not carry any H&S risk. You will appreciate that
we receive packages from around the globe. These contain
products which have been used in various environments and carry
different levels of risk according to whether the product has been
used and, if it has, with what materials. Endecotts products
are employed in environments ranging from commercial diamonds and
the food industry through pharmaceuticals and explosives.
Many of the materials passed through our products are therefore
potentially harmful, not only through contact by our staff but by
cross contamination to other products manufactured by or returned
to us. We also need to ensure that our calibration apparatus
is not likely to be compromised by material entering its
workings.
